The wedding planning process has been made so much easier by deciding to book with this venue. We were able to bundle pretty much everything we needed and make it \"all inclusive\" for the wedding and not have to worry about looking for outside vendors during such a stressful time. I worked closely with Emily, she has been so nice and informative. she responds quickly to all of my questions and helps steer me in the right direction. The wedding planning process has truly flown by and I am glad that I had someone there with me to answer questions and keep me on track. I would definitely recommend this business to others!

Planning with Sydnee was a breath of fresh air! We would come to our meetings with a million little things all over the place, and her sweet and calm disposition made all those details fall into place, in a stress free way. We would leave our meetings with a renewed sense of excitement for our wedding day, focusing again on what is important, because Sydnee had taken care of all the loose ends. She had our back with the vendors and was super clear in her communication with us and with them. She was helpful and wanted the best deals for us, (she even researched a variety of props on Amazon that we wanted on the dance floor!). Besides her calm personality and being genuinely happy for us, our favorite thing about working with Sydnee was that there were no surprises. There was no fine print with her, as it is in the wedding business, sometimes. She was honest, down to earth, organized, and peaceful. What more could you ask for in a planning coordinator?

We just had a wedding held at Hidden Pines Chapel Hill a week ago. We had a bad experience with our experience day of due to the lack of coordination with individuals working day of. The venue coordinator did not deliver the right information causing many day of details to be missed. There were missing items such as easels, tables for dessert table, cheeseboard table and no welcome drinks. The bathrooms were dirty, food was not delivered out in time. Some guests did not have salads and some were already finished with their entrees. The package I purchased were not successfully delivered as well. For 275 guests there were 2 bartenders which resulted in long lines all night. Bartenders lacked knownledge of the drinks behind the bars and did not speak English. Our 2 specialty drinks were also not advertised. The day after the event, I sent a note to the coordinator with my detailed email and a full week later, the regional director sent a generic response which seems like the company not wanting to own up to their mistakes. I am so disappointed in the service as they charge an arm and leg for their packages. I want them to make this right. I gave them an opportunity to fix this issue and will pursue legal actions if needed.

We couldn’t have picked a better venue to have our wedding. We were planning our wedding from out of state. Walters Weddings package for Hidden Pines Highland Billage was a no brainer. Fun fact. This was the very first venue I ever looked up before I was engaged. After we got engaged and visited we were excited to officially say yes to Hidden Pines Highland Village. Our vendors were amazing and made planning our wedding so easy and truly stress free. Amanda-She was so quick with responding and answering questions for us throughout the planning process. She was also a friendly, smiling, happy face to work with. Colleen-day of coordinator with the help of Alejandra WOW!!! They went above and beyond and added special and absolutely noticed by all added details to help our wedding day be so smooth and beautiful. Even when a little drama threatened my wedding day they were quick to provide kind words and keep the day rolling for me. Daniel W/COHOST-so sweet, friendly face and helped keep wedding timeline on time and kept everyone on the dance floor. Lizzie Bee’s & Design Haus- Made my dream wedding Bouquet and wedding day florals. Their team was quick to respond and so easy to work with. Lyons Paperie-executed beautiful wedding invite stationary for us. She also was quick to responding to emails. 3 things people who attended our wedding said 1) the space was absolutely beautiful, clean, elegant, and perfect place to have a wedding 2) the food that we chose from Walters Wedding catering was so delicious (honey mustard chicken, green beans, roasted potatoes, and the Walters salad). I’d love the recipe for my own recipe book. 3) Colleen and Alejandra helped make the wedding day go perfect. Thank you Walters Weddings and Hidden Pines Highland Village for letting and executing Ben and I’s most perfect day.

I fell in love with this venue the moment I entered. We were looking for a venue with a Posh Rustic feel and hidden pines was It. From the elegant chandeliers to the floor to ceiling windows it was every thing we wanted. We had both our ceremony and reception there which was perfect. The chef did an outstanding job with food and the entire staff did an outstanding job throughout the process. They are very professional and very passionate and went above and beyond to make sure all the wedding details were to our liking. They also partner with amazing vendors and we were able to get the floral and stationary through their partners which did an outstanding job as well. Even our guests were very impressed. Needles to say I highly recommend Hidden pines in Highland Village ❤️❤️

We had our wedding at Hidden Pines - Highland Village on 10/9/2022 and it was outstanding. The beautiful windows in the chapel, the bridal suite, the reception space - it was all amazing. The only qualm we had was that the groom suite was small, but it worked for the size of our party. If we could get married all over again, we would definitely choose this location every time. Colleen, Amanda, Newshaw and Carson were the best and easiest people to work with. They kept our guests happy and fed, and eased all anxiety I was feeling about how the day would go. I highly recommend this location for its beauty and those workers for their amazing personalities and helpfulness.

We were tensed initially since none from my friends’ circle or relatives had an event at Hidden pines .We decided this is it after taking our first glance at the venue and moved forward. The transition related to reservation is very smooth and well coordinated.A big shout out for Newshaw, Melanie and the manager of the Hidden Pines ( forgot the name- sorry) for making all this happen . They coordinated so well with our vendors and helped in organizing everything before hand.All the paper work are clean and precise.Pros1) Well coordinated event management 2) Very responsive Staff3) Best location for cock tail parties4) Amazing Drinks ( Best bartender)5) Clean premises 6) Provided chairs and linensConsA bit expensive but worth it.Very much happy to have our next event at Hidden pines

We recently got married here and the venue is beautiful! It’s nice to have the ceremony and reception areas in the same building and nothing outside in the heat.Adam was a great help throughout the process. At first, we were a little nervous, because it was hard to get responses through email/phone call. However, Adam more than made up for it once we got closer to the actual wedding date. He’s very personable, friendly, and professional. Sadly, we didn’t pay for the “day-of coordinating” service and went with our own day-of coordinator, which wasn’t great. Luckily, Adam was present during the whole wedding and stepped up when needed to keep things running smoothly.Our only complaint is that the steak from the in-house catering was overcooked (plated meals), but the catering staff and bar staff were amazing!

I recently had my wedding here, what was promised an “exceptional experience” was far from it 👎🏻 To start off many of my texts/emails were never responded from Adam “coordinator” or Karissa “lady that gets you to sign contract” disappears once contract is signed! We got the most expensive package (elite) But when it was time for the rehearsal Adam forgot about us and we had to practice outside in humid heat followed by a crazy storm soon after. Our plans for a rehearsal dinner were ruined. As things could not get worse we called and called didn’t get a text back until later that night. We were completely humiliated in front of family and friends as if we didn’t have it together! The day of our wedding our cake was cut without us being notified...a special moment, we were unable to get pictures. Walking into the reception I noticed our table was not decorated. I had to remind Adam of almost everything... guess our details meeting we had the week before to make sure everything was “exceptional” was a complete waste of time. I hope this venue gets the extra help they need. It was obvious when the lady doing my hair stated “ sounds like Adam needs some help” Oh and one last thing brides who choose to get ready at venue the door by the restroom does not lock so as people are walking in they are able to get into your dressing room. My makeup bag and money envelopes were stolen that night just to add the cherry on top.

I recently had my wedding here, what was promised an “exceptional experience” was far from it 👎🏻 To start off many of my texts/emails were never responded from Adam “coordinator” or Karissa “lady that gets you to sign contract” disappears once contract is signed! We got the most expensive package (elite) But when it was time for the rehearsal Adam forgot about us and we had to practice outside in humid heat followed by a crazy storm soon after. Our plans for a rehearsal dinner were ruined. As things could not get worse we called and called didn’t get a text back until later that night. We were completely humiliated in front of family and friends as if we didn’t have it together! I had my wedding at Hidden Pines and it was a dream. Adam did an amazing job of helping me enjoy the planning process as well as the day of the wedding. Hidden Pines is NOT willing to discuss ANY amount of refund for guests that do not attend. This company is taking a hard stance on maintaining their contracts when most other businesses are doing everything possible to accommodate their customers during this state of national emergency. Such a sad state we live in that brides and grooms are already devastated by postponement of the biggest day in their lives and now they have to deal with a heartless company such as this venue. All due to money! Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this VENUE and ANY of the venues associated with WALTERS WEDDING ESTATES!!!!

I can’t say enough things about this venue. It is absolutely stunning and when we toured it, I knew I wanted to get married there. Hidden Pines Chapel in Highland Village is a gorgeous venue. The natural beauty is why I originally fell in love with it. As I moved through the process of planning my wedding, everyone at Hidden Pines was helpful. They accommodate all of my needs. One piece of advice, when giving your total head count at the beginning, you will be paying for this amount, no matter what. I did not realize I could not have less or change this number (except to increase it). Also if you plan on having kids, have them in the initial count and quote also. They are half the price and aren’t charged for alcohol. In the end it worked out for me because I went over my initial head count but the children price had not been calculated yet. I ended up even and all was well! Lastly, Maddie was my day of coordinator. She was perfect. She kept everything moving smoothly and if it wasn’t, I didn’t know! That’s how it is supposed to be. The bride and groom were able to eat, YES WE ATE. While everyone else was in line for food, Maddie brought us plates and drinks. It was nice to be able to enjoy the food we payed good money for! Lastly, the venue did a wonderful job cutting the cake. Maddie had to go boxes set aside for the bride and groom to take home and enjoy. So again, thank you to everyone at Hidden Pines! What a wonderful wedding! I got so many compliments on the beautiful architecture and design of our venue choice. The venue simply gorgeous and the staff makes you feel special! My sister got married three years ago at a different venue, and while it was a beautiful wedding, we felt like a number instead of a person. Hidden Pines is completely different. We were all very pleased! Every time I sent an email with a question or concern, I would get a response within the day.The staff were incredibly kind and quick, and they worked with me to create my dream wedding. Everything I needed was there for me! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married. Liz, our wedding coordinator, was responsive and prompt! Everything went smoothly (even though there was a flash flood warning on the day of the wedding!) I couldn't have asked for a better venue.

Every time I sent an email with a question or concern, I would get a response within the day.The staff were incredibly kind and quick, and they worked with me to create my dream wedding. Everything I needed was there for me! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married. Liz, our wedding coordinator, was responsive and prompt! Everything went smoothly (even though there was a flash flood warning on the day of the wedding!) I couldn't have asked for a better venue.

They also had frequent tastings and raffle nights which was such a fun bonus! Their staff is excellent at taking over the small details and leaving the wedding party to relax.

I am so glad that I chose Hidden Pines as my wedding day venue. Not only is it beautiful, but the staff is amazing. Liz, my day-of coordinator, was so easy to work with. Can't say enough good things about Hidden Pines Chapel in Highland Village! The site is beautiful, and I received so many compliments from the attendees and wedding party. Since it's so beautiful, you don't need to spend a lot on decor to make it beautiful - in fact, much more would be cluttered. There is plenty of close parking for the ease of your guests. Both of our mothers are older and didn't need to walk too much. On top of that, it rained on our wedding day (good luck I'm told!) so guests didn't have to get too wet. The food was delicious. In fact, some of my guests commented on how good it was - they were surprised! Working with the coordinator is a gift! I didn't have to worry about anything as the bride. I created most of the wedding details, had a couple of relatives/friends in charge of things like decorating the front table and the reception, but the coordinators took charge, gave us valuable advice and tips and suggestions on how to save money.I highly recommend Hidden Pines!

I have thought not to review this venue, but it has been over a month since my daughter’s wedding and I cannot keep my thoughts to myself. The venue it self is beautiful. But there are issues with Hidden Pines: Either our DJ’s system was the issue or the room it self . Music seemed to echo, & I could not hear my husband’s speech. The coordinator was very pushie, and she was told to not be. The food was not visible appealing. The green beans were salty, and looked and did not taste like they were fresh. The NY stripe looked like prime rib and was extremely rare, and many of my quests told me! It was so upsetting! The taste testing was awesome, so we decided to upgrade our package to include two entrees. BAD DECISION. The chicken was good but cut in half, while the extremely raw meat was a larger piece. The roasted potatoes seemed not to be roasted and the salad had little to no dressing and no red onions or red peppers. The mixed drinks were very watered down!So between the food and liquor per person it was a small fortune and I wouldn’t have minded at all, BUT we did not get what we paid for. As a customer who paid for a service in full before the wedding day, and clearly didn’t get what we should have gotten, my question to Hidden Pines how do you make this right?

Hidden Pines is so beautiful by itself that we did MINIMAL decor, we only had a garland on the mantle for ceremony and small centerpieces for reception and everything was amazing. Their catering company is also very great! We did the waffles and mimosas and we got TONS of compliments on the food and drinks. We had 215 guests show up and all we heard about was how amazing everything was! NOTHING went wrong on our wedding day. Andrew and the staff made sure of that. I would 100% recommend this location!

From first walk through to final exit as man and wife, this place has it all in a beautiful shiny package!The staff was always responsive to any and all questions whether in person, in email or via text message (hey millennials), making it super easy to keep all my vendors informed. The site was impeccable and so easy to make my own because of the vast white, clear and simple wood look throughout. My wedding was not rustic but the little details they have added just enough personality to my glam 225 person event. The set up and tear down was made seamlessly easy with the staff and our day-of coordinator, Alex. She was a doll to work with and aided with all my various helpers bringing in our personal touches. Milestone catering did a fabulous job and even the \"classic\" package was delicious and great for all the guests. Having all the big ticket items from tables and chairs, linens and bartenders and security all the way down to easels and centerpiece glassware available for use made a lot of things easier. This interior designer's heart was so happy with the feel of the space and the personalized transformation it took on. In comparison to so many other places, the pricing, package and product delivery are superior and competitive. And my husband loved the turnkey affects, ease of their contracts and details, and everything else from Hidden Pines that made his bride so very happy!Thank you Alex, and the whole staff, for making our day so special and memorable to all!

The venue itself is beautiful - I fell in love with it the first time I saw it online, and it did not disappoint in person. And I cannot emphasize enough how incredible the staff is! Bailey was our coordinator and was there for me every step of the way - from my many questions beforehand even to helping us get through a medical emergency in the middle of the ceremony with such poise and professionalism! Several of our family members as well commented on how impressed they were with her. My only complaint would be that it felt a little pricy to me - although looking back, I would definitely say it was all worth it.

We held both our ceremony and reception at Hidden Pines and I have only one word to describe our wedding: PERFECTION. The Hidden Pines staff was awesome about answering all my questions up until the big day and Alex, our coordinator was great! She had the rehearsal run so fast and the day of, everything went perfectly! The venue is gorgeous and doesn't need much decoration. Their catering, Milestone, was also delicious! We had a fajita buffet and it was a big hit! The bar ran smoothly and our guests had a great time. All their staff was really friendly and helpful! Our wedding day could not have been more perfect! I suggest renting out the space for the entire day if you can as it makes it much easier and less stressful to get everything done!

We held both our ceremony and reception at Hidden Pines and I have only one word to describe our wedding: PERFECTION. The Hidden Pines staff was awesome about answering all my questions up until the big day and Alex, our coordinator was great! She had the rehearsal run so fast and the day of, everything went perfectly! The venue is gorgeous and doesn't need much decoration. Their catering, Milestone, was also delicious! We had a fajita buffet and it was a big hit! The bar ran smoothly and our guests had a great time. All their staff was really friendly and helpful! Our wedding day could not have been more perfect! Rustic chic designs with very minimal decorations needed! So many gorgeous photo areas - I can't wait to see all the pictures. And to top it off, EXCELLENT customer service. Throughout the process I spoke with numerous staff members and they were ALL extremely friendly and helpful, but I have to give a special shout to Alex! She was INCREDIBLE! I am so glad she was there on my wedding day - she helped things run smoothly with the calmest demeanor the entire time! AND when my bridesmaid was frazzled trying to figure out my bustle, Alex jumped in and saved the day! Thank you so much ALEX for making my day UNFORGETTABLE. Hidden pines went above and beyond for my wedding. Andrew was amazing and the best coordinator I could have ever asked for. The venue itself is adorable and I got so many compliments on it. We used their caterer, Milestone Catering, and it was actually really good! My husband and I didn't get the change to taste the food before the day of so I was SUPER nervous...but they nailed it! The bridal suite made me feel like royalty and the champagne service was superb. The only thing I wish that they had was a bigger grooms suite (husband's wish, not mine!) but it was such a small thing that we still wanted to give them 5 stars. Hidden Pines was great from providing the initial quotes and details all the way through the wedding day. I worked with the Sydney and her supervisor and they were able to schedule me in right away to see the beautiful venue and give me the quick tour. They were great with suggestions on what limitations Walter Wedding Estates usually applies (they require you to use their food and alcohol or pay a fee in order to bring in an outside vendor). Sydney was wonderful in helping me update the table arrangements, set up the rehearsal, and being a day-of coordinator who took care of all of the things that fell slightly off schedule. The venue itself is a beautiful one-stop-shop and almost doesn't need any decoration with its modern-meets-rustic style! Parking was not an issue with my guests (~125 people) and everyone had pictures throughout the venue showing how photogenic it was! Would definitely recommend.

First of all, this is a beautiful venue!!! The moment I walked into the foyer and into the chapel I knew it was the venue for us. Although it is surrounded by a shopping center and school, it is tucked back away and once you go inside you feel like you are somewhere else. The reception is also beautiful! We loved the barn doors, chandeliers in front of the bar, and it has a comfortable bridal suite. Throughout the entire wedding planning staff was very nice and hosted several open houses. Those were great opportunities to meet with the staff, taste the food from Milestone Catering (which is AMAZING), and meet with other vendors. I will, however, say make sure that you get everything in writing and there is no miscommunication. Early on in my planning I was told I could reallocate our money (if we had less guests than estimated) to the rentals/upgrades they provide. Two weeks before the wedding when our guest count was due I was told I could not do that and could only reallocate the catering side. This was disappointing and frustrating as we had to come up with the money last minute. The day of our wedding, however, was perfect. Sydney, our venue coordinator, made everything run smoothly! All of our guests had an amazing time and couldn't get over how beautiful the venue was.

I got married in August and my experience with the staff was okay. Nothing Special. Until we got our coordinator for the day which was Stacy H.! She was so sweet and SUPER helpful. I was so excited when we got the chance to meet her because she was so nice! everything went smooth because of HER! The only warning/complaint i have: Your time frames and rules are awful. You have to pay extra for more hours which is expensive. Two hours to set up the venue/chapel is not enough time for pictures or set up. Fees for non-preferred catering. ( their catering was outrageously expensive) Rules about everything, which I understand but we paid a lot of money for the venue and I felt like it was fees for every little thing, there was no leniency. Overall, besides the terrible fees and the time frames, it was the look i was looking for and i felt that was important for us and the type of photography look i was looking for. That is the only reason i chose this venue. A solid option if you are looking for a natural light type of event, because I Loved all of my photos.

From the very beginning of our wedding planning process, the staff at Hidden Pines made sure we had all of the information and resources necessary to make wise decisions that were in line with our vision for the event. Our day-of coordinator, Alex, was a joy to work with and was always available to answer questions and adjust the plan (both of which were frequent occurrences for us). The space is clean, inviting, and SO beautiful!!! All of our guests spoke highly of it for days after. Also, I want to shout out Milestone catering- the in-house vendor- for going above and beyond as well! We were so pleased with their food and service quality.

We both loved that it had a lot of natural light, especially since we wanted to have our wedding during the day. The chapel was so pretty that it didn't need any flowers. It was also very easy to book a tour of the place. Everyone I came in contact with was helpful. Charlotte and Alex were the two main people I worked with and they were very fun and joyful to work with. I would definitely recommend this place. I got married here on 6/10/17 and it was so perfect! The venue was organized and our venue coordinator, Alex, was amazing! I had so many guest tell me how beautiful it was and how they had never seen anything like it. I had called hidden pines many times with questions the weeks before the wedding and they always were so kind and answered my questions so quickly! I loved this venue!

My daughter and son-in-law got married at Hidden Pines in May. Everything was very clear in our meetings and explained well throughout the experience, and the management answered many emails from me when I had further questions. We chose to do the catering from Milestone and everything was great on our menu, and they allowed us to bring in home-made items for a special touch to add to our meal. The bride and groom were given an extra meal to take home as they left, as well as more cake, so they can truly enjoy the food, as during the reception they did not get very much time to really eat. The pricing for changing the color on linens I felt was really high, so we ended up renting the linens we needed in ivory to avoid the upcharge on that. The only glitch I felt was when the couple went outside to take pictures with the photographer, and it appeared there was a break-down in communication with the coordinator and the DJ, who was unaware of the pictures being taken outside. An announcement made to our guests would have been ideal so everyone would know they would be returning shortly, but this one lack of communication was the only issue I saw come up during the entire event. Thank you Hidden Pines for making my daughter and her husband's wedding day super special for both of them!

I loved the venue it was beautiful but unfortunately that's as far as my positive review goes. I used milestone catering/Oliver's fine dining for my caterer as the venue was going to charge more to use a different caterer. I paid to have their bartender and had to pay extra because their package had the bartender leaving an hour before the wedding was over. I wanted to have the plates and glasses set on the table (did not need to have food or glasses filled as my guests could walk through the buffet themselves to be less trouble on the caterer) but milestone wanted to charge me $495 and would not budge, they would also not allow us to set the table. I even offered to pay $200 to let us do it ourselves. I paid for 160 people and I only had 130 people show up and did not get to take any of the extra food home (that's $900 extra I paid for the 30 people, I should have been able to take that home or they should have at least not taken the food away as soon as everyone was seated so people could get seconds since there was plenty of food left). when we tasted the food I thought the salad was dry and asked for a little more dressing, they wanted to charge me $80 for a little more ranch to be mixed in. The time at the venue was super rushed. I booked this venue in December 2015 and was told that my vendors would be able to get to the venue before us but we couldn't get there until 4:30, which I was fine with. A month before the wedding I was told that no one including my vendors could get there until 4:30 which gave us 2 hours to decorate the venue and take pictures. You have no time to get all the pictures in you want and be able to relax beforehand. You have minimal options for your grand exit, no sparklers or confetti. No food or beverages allowed in the bridal or groom suites. My wedding was at 6 and everything had to be out by 11. One positive thing was the venue allowed us to get there at 4 instead of 4:30 since my wedding was at 6 instead of 6:30 like they have on their contact. With this I did have to pay an extra $480 for the catering staff to get there half an hour early. I would encourage you to read everything and ask questions before signing a contract with them. This is a business and its ran solely to make money so beware this is a cookie cutter venue that doesn't allow much room for enjoyment.Also, I paid $20.95 per person for food and they gave 6 pieces of Mac and cheese for a serving.
